Highly recommend visiting the Staircase area in Olympic National Park on the shores of Lake Cushman outside of Hoodsport. You can read more about this hike here, you will see directions on the bottom right of that page. Other hikes in the area include:
Mt Ellinor- gorgeous views of Mt. Rainer, Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens and more along the trail.
Kayaking on Mason Lake or on Puget Sound
There will be kayaks and canoes that you can use on Mason Lake. You can even look into kayaking over on the Puget Sound, launching at Fair Harbor, or kayaking on Hood Canal, launching at Twanoh State Park or Potlatch State Park, if you have your own kayak.
Watersports on Mason Lake
Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, swimming and more available on Mason Lake.
